To apply for a Coyne American Institute Educational Foundation (CAIEF) scholarship:
Attn: Virginia Hanson

Students will write or create a video telling why they should receive a CAIEF scholarship. Tell us about yourself. Why are you drawn to the skilled trades? Is there anything you do that illustrates that you are hungry to learn a skill that’s in demand? Let us know about any of your accomplishments. Why do you deserve to receive an award? What else do you do that sets you apart from all the other applicants? For example, do you volunteer? Do you put in extra hours helping other students or mentoring kids? Make your case, and be persuasive.
- Your essay should be a minimum of 250 words. If you choose to create a video, it should be 3-5 minutes in length.
- Videos and essays can be submitted on a flash drive to Ms. Hanson or via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 24, 2017.
Upon receipt of the scholarship application, the scholarship panel will review the applicants to select recipient(s). The panel may request an interview with the candidates.
All scholarships are subject to annual funds available through direct donations or through actual and/or accrued interest earnings from endowments.
Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or state of physical handicap.
